Othmane specialises in energy, infrastructure, project development and finance with transactional experience in Africa. He also acts on due diligence in M&A transactions.   

He has an in-depth understanding of the energy sector and was awarded the LL.M. (Master of Laws) in International Energy Law & Policy with Distinction from the world-renowned Centre for Energy, Petroleum, and Mineral Law & Policy (CEPMLP) at the University of Dundee, UK.

Othmane’s practice focusses on project financing, industrialisation, natural resources, in particular the exploration, development, and production of hydrocarbons (up, mid and down stream Oil & Gas), mining, LNG, hydrogen, power generation and transmission, renewables (solar, onshore & offshore wind) and the energy transition.

His academic experience and previous legal practice at an international law firm have shaped his unique set of skills.

Othmane holds also a Master’s degree in public law and Maîtrse in economics and business Law from Université Côte d'Azur, France (formerly known as Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis).

As part of his energy research passion, Othmane was awarded the "Master's Research Fellowship" from the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies (OIES), a leading research centre in energy economics and geopolitics in Oxford, UK, where he was supervised to conduct research on the potential of hydrogen exports from Morocco to Europe.

Fervid of geopolitics, diplomacy, and global affairs, Othmane holds a great interest to what shapes the World’s order.

Maître Anice is fluent and able to perform seamlessly in English, French, and Arabic.
